Dear Pilots,
Thanks to everyone for attending the Friday meeting. It was a bit of a squeeze but we managed to pull it off. I'm all for a change of venue so feel free to post your ideas. Here's what happened:

- Douglas and Andrew are going to be writing and posting some guidelines for our sites starting with Bell.
- I will be contacting the landowner of the L-shaped pasture to seek permission to land there officially.
- I will also be calling the TVA land resource manager again to say hi and see about getting permission to land at the field across from Shake Rag.
- We hope to have a sit-down in the next week or so with a member of the Board at Stone Mountain to see about crafting a more focused proposal for their consideration.
- Lida was unanimously elected Secretary so congratulations are in order.
- Thanks to Hynek for his contributions regarding safety and flight operations in general.
- Andrew will be posting pilot ratings on the site. If you were not able to attend the meeting please let Andrew know your current rating for posting.
- Congrats also in order for our two newest P-3 pilots. Lida and well.... me.
- We are planning to have a Fly-in at Bell on the 13th and 14th of this month. Just for fun this time. No beer glasses for you this time Alek. Hope to get a crowd weather permitting.

Congrats to Hynek for his tandem flights at Bell this Saturday. You rock! Was that the first mountain paragliding tandem flight in Georgia history??
